The New 2012 California Science Safety Handbook is finally here

In 1999, California launched its last update to the Science Safety Handbook. The Handbook was supposed to be updated once every 3 years, but for various reasons the updates never came.  For years risk managers in the schools have been begging for an update and finally, now in 2012 the update is here.  You can download a copy of the 2012 Science Safety Handbook here:

In addition, you may want to purchase this book for your chemical hygiene officer: Bretherick’s Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards
(Volumes 1–2), 7th Edition, 2007, published by Elsevier, Inc
